This makes our unified platform the first of its kind in the world to combine an aggregator, feed builder and reader with clustering capability.
Newsroom is a modern feed reader for knowledge workers, where you can read, research and analyze relevant sources like global or local news, industry articles, blogs, insights, forums (e.g. Reddit posts), social media (e.g. Twitter profiles and search results) etc., all in one mindful app on any device.
Clustering helps significantly in reducing information overload by grouping similar articles from multiple publishers to form a more concise view, and provides a holistic look at trending news or topics through different viewpoints and opinions, essential for fully understanding a matter or event in order to make better decisions.
It's like your own Google News, only fully customizable in terms of the sources you'd like to monitor.
This feature utilizes Natural Language Processing (NLP) and Unsupervised Learning (a type of Machine Learning) for clustering of articles. At the moment, clustering is limited to articles from a few hundred popular news publishers. We will continue to expand its coverage, and tweak the algorithm for better results.
